LENT

I know, I know, ANOTHER picture of a pancake. No doubt you've seen 1000000 others on Facebook and Instagram in the past couple of days. This one in particular was delicious (I had around 15 yesterday) and is a sad reminder of what I'm giving up for lent...sweets and chocolate.

Will I last? I hope so! I would quite like to prove to myself that I have at least a little bit of self control. What are you guys giving up?!

Effaclar Duo and Bioderma

I know that blog posts on these products have been done to death and most beauty addicts will already own these BUT I like to read reviews from as many sources as possible so thought I'd chip in my two cents.

As expected, both products live up to the hype.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

From reading reviews and watching various YouTube videos about this I thought it would change my life. While it hasn't done quite that I would definitely say this now a staple product. The texture of my skin has become so much smoother and I definitely think it has prevented some major breakouts. My blackheads haven't seemed to disappear but maybe they will in time. If you get this be patient it took a few weeks for me and also gave me a few dry patches whilst my skin got used to it. I use it morning and night after cleansing and under moisturiser if my skin needs a boost.

Bioderma Créaline H20

This make up remover is the best I've ever used. I've tried cream cleansers in the past and have always managed to get them in my eye and then had blurry vision for 20 minutes! Bioderma couldn't be easier to use and what is more it has no stinging effect on my skin which is unusual as mine is fairly sensitive. It makes the whole process of make up removal so much faster and has helped my skin in the long term. I got it from this buyer on eBay, but it is cheaper in France so if you have a friend or family member going soon try and sweet talk them in to getting you a present!

A couple of recent eBay purchases. The Celine dupe is great but the Kenzo jumper is a little small and...stiff?! I guess that's karma for buying fakes!

Current distractions from work! helllp

I WANT (never gets)

Literally been DROOLING over Zara's new collection. If only the student loan hadn't already been spent...

Here are a couple of my faves...

I think the textured shirt/top is so beautiful and classic. The kind of top I should save for good but would end up wearing to the library! The trousers and skirt are two things I don't really have in my wardrobe and would add a bit of interest, my problem is always what kind of top to wear. I want this necklace soo badly but already have some similar so can't justify it...at the moment. Zara Y U SO NICE!
