Yes I am a 12 year old girl and yes I love One Direction. Here are a couple of snaps of when I went to see them in Newcastle. I had the best time and danced all night! Such innocent fun.

HAPPY EASTER

Happy Easter everyone! I got up so early this morning (6.30am!) because I have a project to finish for uni. My early start meant I had a bit of time to spare so before cracking on I did a bit of baking - treats to get me through the day! I made Rosie's Banana Nutella Swirl Muffins. They are SO good I accidentally ate 3 before 10am. Choc for breakfast is acceptable on Easter Sunday anyway.

Klosters Ski Trip

Here are a few pics from my recent skiing holiday to Klosters, Switzerland. One of my friends lives there so luckily we had free accommodation in a gorgeous family home - having a fire everyday made relaxing after skiing SO much cosier. Absolutely detoxing now I'm home, think I managed two hot chocolates a day on the slopes!

Now back to the dissertation...

Mothers Day

Being the perfect daughter that I am (honest) I came home for the weekend to see my mom for Mothers Day! Being a penniless student I couldn't afford much of a present so I decided to bake her a cake instead. I am not a master baker by ANY means (no matter how hard I try I cannot get cookies right - they always end up melted in to each other in a bubbly mess, what am I doing wrong?) but I have to say this was a pretty good effort.

This was a BBC Good Food recipe and it honestly couldn't have been easier. I had a slice for pudding earlier and have already been back to the fridge to pick at the sides (sacrilege!)
